Houston, Texas (PRWeb) March 22, 2011—The National Aeronautics and Space

Administration’s Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center Visitor Center will be a stop on the Final Four Floor Tour on Thursday, March 24.
The Final Four Floor Tour features the 2011 playing surface of the Men’s NCAA Final Four
The truck carrying the Final Four surface will be at the LBJ Space Center Visitor Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The public is invited to come and see the truck and sign the truck banner that will be travelling to Reliant Stadium. While at the Space Center visitors can sign the banner covering the court surface and receive Final Four memorabilia.
The court has made its way from Salt Lake City where the manufacturer of the playing surface, Connor Sport Court International, is headquartered. Stops honoring NCAA colleges and teams have been made along the way.
The playing court started its journey to fame from Connor Sports Flooring’s manufacturing plant in Amasa, Michigan. It then travelled to Idaho Falls where Connor’s finishing partner—United Services —put the final touches on the surface, including logos, color striping and the urethane top surface.
The court, a QuickLock™ portable system, was constructed by Connor especially for the NCAA Final Four. It is built from Northern Hardwood Maple in strict accordance with NCAA specifications. Connor Sport Court is a member of the Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association (MFMA) and adheres to the stringent manufacturing guidelines of that organization.
