The International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and USA Basketball presented the first edition of the Latin American Select Team Game during the 2016 NCAA Men’s Final Four weekend.

Fourteen of the top Latin American collegiate players participated in the inaugural game on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Buick Arena, in Houston, Texas. The game was played on a state of the art Connor Sports QuickLock™ basketball court.

As a Champion of Sport, Connor Sports was proud to be part of another step forward in the mission to create one global basketball community by uniting players from around the world. The inaugural game allowed top players from Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela to compete on the same type of basketball court their peers play on in the NCAA Final Four, creating a common playing ground for athletes.

Connor Sports looks forward to continuing being apart of the movement to unite players across the globe. A harmonious and unified basketball community will help propel the sport and basketball community forward, allowing athletes, coaches and fans around the world to unite. Connor Sports is humbled to provide the surface where this comradery is being built.
