Connor Sports is proud to introduce Karl Geissler as our new Track and Field Sales Manger. Karl joins Connor Sports with over 17 years experience in the track and field and sports construction industry.
Twenty years ago, Connor Sports became the first MFMA member to be certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This partnership with the FSC means we’ve spent the last two-decades engaging in business practices that preserve forests.
Everyday champions play on Connor Sports basketball courts but the power of these champions extend beyond the three-point line. As Champions of Community, Connor Sports, along with St. Sabina, Mary’s Courts, Isiah Thomas, Spike Lee and Jabari Parker brought champions together for the Fifth Annual Chicago Peace Games in an effort to build relationships and create brotherhood on the neutral territory of a basketball court.
Philadelphia native and new member of the Miami Heat, Wayne Ellington and Connor Sports® will host the first annual Philadelphia Peace Games, aimed to bring at-risk youth and young adults together while emphasizing gun violence prevention and advocacy. The event will take place at Girard College on Saturday, August 20, and will include a basketball tournament open to the public.
The 2016 High Performance Basketball Symposium is taking place over the next two days at UNLV in Las Vegas, NV. In preparation of the clinic and to help basketball players get the most out of their training, Connor Sports’ strength and performance specialist, Craig Sowers, has outlined four essential lifts for basketball players.
Earlier this year, the Toronto Raptors dedicated a new two story 68,000 square foot practice facility that includes a locker room, workout area, therapy areas, various offices and two Connor Sports basketball courts.
Prior to building the facility the Raptors shared their practice space with the Maple Leafs, the historic Toronto hockey franchise. Sharing practice space made the Raptors feel they were without a place of their own.
